How we make money

Brokeli is free to use. Some brokers pay us a commission when readers open accounts through our links. This page explains how that works and the rules that keep it away from our research.

Updated Oct 16, 2026

Commercial relationships pay for the research, but they never decide it. Scores, rankings and Find My Broker results are calculated from published research snapshots, and no agreement with a broker can change them.

01Affiliate commissions

Some brokers run affiliate programmes. When you open, and sometimes fund, an account after following one of our links, the broker may pay Brokeli a commission. Depending on the programme, it can be a fixed fee per new client, a payment per qualified sign-up, or another model agreed with the broker. The commission is paid by the broker; Brokeli does not charge you for using the site.

Agreements differ by broker and by country. We do not have an agreement with every broker we review, and we review brokers whether or not they pay us.

Buttons such as “Visit broker” use a Brokeli address in the form brokeli.com/go/broker-name. When you click one, this happens:

  1. 1
    We record the click

We store an anonymised session identifier, the page and position of the link, your selected country, basic browser information and any campaign tags. We do not store your name or email address with the click.

  2. 2
    We pick the right destination

If we have an active offer for that broker in your country, the link carries the broker’s partner tracking. If we do not, you go straight to the broker’s official website and no commission applies.

  3. 3
    You leave Brokeli

You land on the broker’s own site. Anything you do there, including opening an account, is between you and the broker and is governed by its terms.

Our outbound broker links are marked as sponsored for search engines, and the redirect pages are not indexed. Active offer links are checked automatically, and our team is alerted when one breaks.

  • Pages with broker links carry a disclosure that Brokeli may receive compensation and that it never changes our scores.
  • Calls to action that leave Brokeli say so, and remind you that we may earn a commission.
  • Reviews show an “Affiliate link” label when a commercial offer may apply.
  • The site footer links to this page from every page.

04Partner placements

We may offer brokers paid placements in the future, such as a featured slot on a page. If we do, every placement will be labelled “Partner” or “Sponsored”, shown apart from scores and rankings, and limited to brokers available in the reader’s country. A paid placement will never be presented as a ranking position, a rating or a recommendation.

05What money can never buy

A higher scoreRatings are calculated from published research under a versioned methodology. Commercial data is not an input.
A better ranking positionRankings are ordered by published ratings and rules. Affiliate priority only selects which offer link is used, never the order.
A recommendationFind My Broker scores your answers against published data. Commercial agreements do not change match scores.
A cleaner recordRegulator warnings, risk findings and negative facts stay published whether or not a broker pays us.
Hiding competitorsBrokers without an agreement are reviewed, compared and ranked in exactly the same way.
Influence over AI answersOur AI assistant answers only from published research, with citations, and gives no trading signals.

Availability is researched per country. A country ranking only includes brokers recorded as available and accepting new clients there, and Find My Broker never recommends a broker that is unavailable where you live, however much it might pay. We use your chosen country first; location from your IP address is only a fallback hint, never proof of residence. You can change your country in the site header at any time.

07How we handle conflicts of interest

  • Research and commercial work are separate roles. The people who manage affiliate offers cannot edit rating methodologies, research snapshots or ranking formulas.
  • Every figure is sourced and dated by an analyst and approved by a fact-checker before it is published.
  • An offer can be switched off without touching the review. If we find a commercial conflict, we disable the offer and the research stays public.
  • Changes to research, ratings and publication are recorded in an audit log.
Does using a Brokeli link cost me more?

Brokeli does not charge you anything. Commissions are paid by the broker. Your trading costs are set by the broker, so always check its current fee schedule before opening an account.

Is a broker that pays you ranked higher?

No. Rankings come from published ratings, and ratings are calculated without any commercial data. A broker with no agreement can rank above one that pays us.

Do brokers pay to be reviewed?

No. We do not sell reviews, scores or awards. We decide which brokers to research ourselves.

Can I visit a broker without your tracked link?

Yes. You can always type the broker’s address into your browser yourself. Our research is exactly the same whichever way you go.

How do I report an undisclosed commercial link?

Write to [email protected] with the page URL. We will check the link and fix the label or disable the offer.
