Editorial team

The people who research, edit and fact-check Brokeli's broker reviews, rankings and guides, and the rules they work by.

How the team works

Every review starts in our research workspace. An analyst records facts from official sources, an editor turns them into a readable review, and a fact-checker approves the changes before anything is published. Every change is logged, and every published page points to a specific research snapshot.

Author and fact-checker names appear on a review once those roles are assigned. Some profiles belong to AI editorial personas. They are always labelled “AI persona”, their articles are written with AI and checked against sources, and they never add figures that are not in the published research or change a rating.

Research analystsCollect broker data from regulator registers, legal documents and pricing pages, attach the source and capture date, and flag metrics that have gone stale.
EditorsWrite and maintain reviews, guides and FAQs in plain language, and assign pages for translation into our eight site languages.
Fact-checkersCompare new values with previous ones, verify every source and block a publication when data is wrong or incomplete. They confirm ratings before they go live.
EngineersBuild and run the research workspace, the snapshot pipeline and the rating, fee and ranking engines. Brokeli's engineering is provided by Spicanet.

Editorial standards

01Every figure has a source

Each published metric goes back to a dated observation from an official or primary source. If we cannot source a number, we leave it out.

02A second pair of eyes

Nobody publishes their own research unchecked. A fact-checker reviews the difference between the old and new data before a snapshot is published.

03Reviewed translations

English is our source language. Machine translation of reviews and other commercial pages is never published without human review.

04Dated and corrected

Pages show when their data was last checked. When we find an error, we correct the record and publish a new snapshot. Earlier snapshots stay on file.

Spotted an error?

Tell us the broker, the country, the figure that looks wrong and a link to an official source. Write to [email protected]. We review every report, correct the record and publish a new snapshot.
